God's Own Country (Part 2) !

Yeh jo des hai tera - Swades hai tera!

It always brings feelings of Notsalgia when you go visiting with family to the places where all customs and traditions imparted to us have been born.

Backwaters of Kerala have unassuming facets of beauty which is extremely difficult to express in words! A day spent at the houseboats took away all the stress and feelings i had not tended to in a while.

Looking forward to more trips to this beautiful place in the near future.

India Down Under!

The Andamans! My first trip in India outside the mainland!

My first vacation in 2009!

The scenic beauty is too spellbinding. I wish i could have stayed more. 5 days is too less a time to immerse oneself in the Serenity called The Andamans!

Fragility

Relationships are like butterflies :

you hold them too tight in your fist and they will die,

you hold them too loose and they will fly.

So this time when i let one oppurtunity come my way,

i let it fade away.

Anticipation

In the past few years, i have realised and experienced several times the true meaning of the saying - "The true joy is not in the Destination, but in the Journey itself!"

May it be the time, when during exams, we just couldn't wait for them to get over and go back home from our hostels. But after reaching home we just couldn't think about anything else but going back to college.

Or may it be the time, we were waiting for a huge concert or show to happen. But, just couldn't be satisfied after it was over because of the expectations that were built up during the wait.

Or, also during the time, at work, you are waiting for your profile assignment. And, after you get it, you become so busy and involved at work that you don't get the time to sit back and appreciate the responsibility or role you are handed.

You may also.... rather, you will also more than enjoy all emotions that go along with looking forward to something : Apprehension, worry, anxiety etc.

So, if you people are awaiting a big happening in your life (be it personal or career), sit back and relax to enjoy the Anticipation of what is in store for you!

An Update

As i haven't had access to a constant internet connection for the past 8 months, i haven't been able to blog. Because of the restriction i just mentioned, i thought i will start writing a diary. But that turned out to be a failure after 20 pages of Days of My Life.

The last 8 months at ITC since July 19th have been a fantastic experience. Met a lot of people, made a lot of friends, got introduced to the Corporate Life we have heard so much about. And of course, have started earning my own dough. I have been recently assigned a profile which i am very excited about. Hope it turns out to be as fulfulling as the last 8 months have been!
